- Chamomile – a gentle apple scent
- Orange peel
- Lemon peel
- Dried orange slices
Woody and seed pods
- Cedar roses
- Casuarina pods
- Cotton pods
Spices
- Cinnamon sticks
- Star anise
- Whole cloves
Potpourri ingredients – Oils
There are two main types of oil for use in potpourri making: home fragrance oils and essential oils.
Home fragrance oils by Hassett Green for a great reliable long lasting fragrance.
These are particularly popular:
- Just Rose – this has a really good rose scent
- Just Lime – zingy and fresh
- Honeysuckle and Jasmine – white floral
- Cinnamon
Pure natural essential oils by Ancient Wisdom for aromatherapy benefits but not as long lasting.
Here are our most popular:
- Lavender – by far the biggest seller
- Cedarwood – masculine fragrance plus moth repelling properties too!
